MANAGING DIRECTOR

Sarah Marshall
ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Sarah brings a strong background in administration and accounts to Marshall Construction. She began her career as a trained secretary, later progressing into a PA role, before taking a career break to raise her family. During this time, Sarah continued to build her experience through part-time office-based work within a college, alongside managing the accounts for the family business. Once her children had left the nest, the opportunity arose to join Marshall Construction, where she now plays an important role in keeping the financial side of the business organised and running smoothly. As Accounts Manager, Sarah supports the team with bookkeeping, invoices, supplier payments, cost tracking and day-to-day accounts administration. She is methodical, detail-focused and takes pride in making sure everything is accurate and in the right place. Reliable, organised and proud of the work she does, Sarah enjoys knowing she is making a difference behind the scenes. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, including knitting, crochet and paper craft, as well as relaxing with a good film.
Mark Garrett
Operations Manager
Mark brings over 20 years of construction experience to Marshall Construction, having started his career as a plasterer before running his own business and later joining the team as a Project Manager. As Operations Manager, Mark oversees the day-to-day running of our projects, coordinating trades, managing programmes, solving problems on site and keeping clients updated throughout the process. His experience, calm approach and strong people skills help ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, with as little stress as possible for our clients. Reliable, honest and hardworking, Mark takes real pride in building strong relationships with clients and trades alike. Outside of work, he is a family man with a wife, three children and Ralph the cockapoo. He enjoys playing padel, supporting Spurs and Stevenage FC, and once completed a skydive for a local baby loss charity.

From initial meeting with Dale through to the end of the build communication was excellent. Mark was on hand throughout to discuss progress and was not phased by anything , even when we had to revise our foundation plans and the work was pushed back. Throughout the build we felt informed and involved in the progress. The level of workmanship and detail is excellent and we are really pleased with the results .
